Monday, 07.19.10: Summer Hours

Summer is full swing and we are going to take advantage of the longer days and push class times back 30 minutes. Make sure you check MindBody for changes. 

Our new Summer Schedule:

5 pm to 6 pm
6 pm to 7 pm
7 pm to 8 pm

2. Rockers?

Hey guys, I posed the question a few days ago but no one ever chimed in, so I am still wondering, what are rockers?

3. Gabriel,

A rocker is performed by laying on your back. Extend your arms up above your head, arms parallel. With your feet together, raise your ankles and arms about 6 inches off of the floor. You then 'rock' your body forward and backwards, touching your heels to the ground before rocking (on your back) and allowing your hands to touch the ground. Maintain a tight core throughout the movement, keeping your back curved. Effectively, your body maintains a 'U' shape while you rock back and forth. One rep is performed by touching your heels to the ground, then your hands, then returning to your heels.
